VOILA! THEATRE FESTIVAL 2026 is ready for boarding!
After relaunching our multi venue model in 2024 and hosting our biggest ever festival in 2025, we are reuniting with our partner venues to showcase even more panlingual theatre across London this November! The festival is produced by The Cockpit and supported by City of Westminster College, part of United Colleges Group.
Voila! Theatre Festival is a place for artists to create, to connect, and to celebrate collaboration. We support individuals and companies wanting to make a daring leap: present a new piece of work, tour to a new audience, or translate a play into a new language. Our previous programmes have included cross-cultural mash-ups, adaptations, bilingual comedies, devised theatre, solo performance, puppetry, clowning, circus, dance, music, stand-up, and more.
We embrace an entrepreneurial fringe model in order to platform emergent theatre: contemporary artist-led work that responds to our world with a sense of urgency. We support and mentor theatre makers wanting to take the next steps in self-producing their work, bypassing institutional gatekeepers. Voila! creates a home for artists to speak in their own voice, in their own accent, and in their own language.

Applications open on 9 March and close on 13 April via Eventotron. All applicants will be notified by 1 June 2026.
We will hold two online Festival Q&As with Voila! Festival directors Katharina Reinthaller & Fae Fichtner on 18 March at 6pm and 1 April at 12pm UK Time. Register by clicking on the respective dates.
