Mortal! Enter Shakespeare's purgatory if you dare. Meet some of your favourite Shakespearean characters and others, well, we'd bet a pint on the house you wouldn't even recognise. Follow Rosaline (Romeo's ex) and Viola as they spark a revolution. Fed up with their fates, the minor characters demand the right to rewrite their own stories. So Shakespeare descends as a godlike tyrant, determined to restore order, punish the unruly and reward one lucky character with their very own original story. What follows is a chaotic mix of parody pitches, sketch style scenes and backstage plotting culminating in an epic showdown between the Bard and his rebellious characters. The company uses absurd comedy to make Shakespeare more accessible to lifelong Shakespeare fans and complete newcomers alike.
