"Stereotypes are true; they are just not the whole truth."

Meet Spanish and English, two vibrant characters that grapple and coexist, battling their ever-growing list of obligations. This eclectic Spanglish one-woman show explores procrastination, emails, recipes and the pursuit of life's true essence.

Infused with energetic physical comedy, clowning, and storytelling, Chop-chop! promises laughter and reflection about what truly shapes us. It mirrors the complexity of a bilingual brain and our multi-faceted identities.

Chop-chop! is an ode to Andrea’s mother and her tortilla. It highlights how something as simple as food reconnects us with our roots; whilst also criticising toxic productivity culture and how we can lose ourselves within it.

Don't miss the World Premiere of Chop-chop! Join us in the battle between the emotional and rational sides of the brain – Spanish versus English, or is it the other way around?

'Chop-chop's ingredients are pure energy and an overwhelming truth. This play is hilarious and an accurate way of talking about procrastination. Andrea connects with the audience from the first second and takes you through the different voices of the mind that each one carries inside.'

'Eclectic and fascinating. It intriguingly reconciles two distinct perspectives within bilingualism, portrayed by one actress. With humor and a touch of drama, the show excels with diverse acting styles, creating a rich and immersive audience experience.'
