Do you know the feeling when the night pulls you in—and everything else fades away? In Schlaflos/Sleepless, the night becomes a space of liberation and confrontation, balancing on the fragile edge between excess and the longing for escape. It’s a story that explores the emotional highs and lows of nightlife, the delicate bonds of friendship and identity, and the moments of inner conflict and self-discovery we can’t outrun.
Inspired by Wim Wenders' Wings of Desire and Nan Goldin's photographic work, Schlaflos/Sleepless combines electronic music, poetic storytelling, and the raw energy of club culture, shaping a performance that blurs the lines between theater and concert.
Performed bilingually in French and German, with English surtitles.
