A story based on real experiences of an immigrant in the UK, exploring themes of home, belonging and finding your identity as a foreigner in a big city. It's a play about endless searching for the place that feels right. That feels like home. It's about racing towards the future and running away from the past, until you cannot run anymore and all you are left with is the present. A train station. And a train to Brixton.
A debut play from actor/writer Zuzana Spacirova, in which she reflects on her experiences of moving from Eastern Europe to London.
But really it is mainly about falling in love with a talking Tesco self checkout and binge watching Eastenders, accompanied by painfully relatable and ever so slightly questionable life choices.
The performance on 9 November will be live streamed; book via The Space website.
