A pregnant woman fantasises about the future life of her unborn daughter. One thing is certain: that future will be far from unproblematic. Sea levels are rising, the rain is endless, there is a constant flow of mud, and the earth is shrivelling. Nature has demanded to have the world back. Follow her journey in this beautifully written, poignantly moving play.

Anna Carlier is a prize winning playwright from Flanders. Hide was nominated for the Toneelschrijfprijs prize in 2020.

Reviews

"In her poetic and elegiac script, Anna Carlier expresses a view of the world that is as warm-hearted as it is horrifying, from a highly original starting point." – Jury Toneelschrijfprijs
