A physical theatre tragicomedy in Denglish
Toys speak their truth and fairy tales turn tummies and trigger tantrums in this moving bilingual drama with a comic twist told with fierce physical ingenuity. Caught in an endless loop between troubled childhoods and adulthoods, a child with ADHD and a teacher with a working visa collide in a rowdy frenzy of pink rage, both searching for salvation.
An anti-celebration of the anti-heros of the everyday, served for you without confetti but with zero awareness of gender norms. Performed in both English and German to the live sounds of a xylophone and a few plastic instruments, and featuring a couple of fairly opinionated puppets.
The performance on 10 November will be live streamed; book via The Space website.
