If borders are stories written in someone else’s pen — what happens when we write back?
Apart is a sixty-minute theatrical journey across time and ink scars, told through South Asia’s Partition and seen through two friends, three generations, and one ancient board game: carrom.
Blending naturalism with playful absurdity, Apart explores connection — spoken and unspoken — beyond hierarchies of power and expectation.
Through laughter, media, and resistance, this story traces restless shadows across lands.
Belonging. Control. Inheritance. Narrative. Hope.
Apart invites strangers to become mirrors — to meet ourselves and each other, with open eyes and open hearts.
This is a story that does not stop at the edge of the stage.
Two nights. One board. Endless ways to read the map.
