A Massive Disappointment is Feral Bird Theatre's new solo show about how we define success and failure, and how those definitions intersect with the experience of being a 1st or 2nd generation migrant.

Grindset podcasts say that nothing short of greatness is acceptable, but what is the point of greatness on a burning planet? And, is there a twinge of disappointment in our parents' voices? Systems are buckling under pressure all around us, and it seems that we are in the throes of a seismic shift in how we define a life well-lived. Why not openly, shamelessly sit together in our disappointment and disillusionment and see what we can create out of it?

Expect a mash-up of subversive humour, clown, physical theatre, a peppering of audience interaction, and probably the phrase “oh bless you” several times.
